How much does a window and door remove and replacement cost?
The price for any job varies greatly. Pricing is dependent on type of glass used. For example, single glazing or double glazing, standard float or toughened 'low e' glass. Other factors include frame colour, existing windows to be removed, wall construction type, whether working on the ground floor or 1st floor and above, and many more.
With that in mind, you should expect a single glazed sliding door replacment to be in the range of $2500-$6000, and window replacements to cost $1000+.
​How long does the process take?
While it may only take up to a couple hours to remove and replace a window or door, it does take some time to get to that point.
From first enquiry to measure you should expect around a 5-7 day wait.
A quote will then take up to a week.
Once the quote is accepted and deposit is paid, a wait time for installation may be up to 3-4 months.
